Sebastien became actively involved in the field of medical marijuana in 2013 while seeking alternative treatments for his son Jagger’s, rare terminal Mitochondrial disease.
In 2014, with his wife Annett, they became medical refugees in Colorado to access cannabis oil for Jagger. He received a bachelor degree in international business from the University of Indianapolis and has over 15 years of business experience at several Fortune 500 companies. His areas of expertise include: human resources, training, process improvements, sales management, customer care, marketing, brand building, etc. Sebastien also completed a Medical Marijuana certification program offered by American for Safe Access and the Cannabis Training Institute and is in the process of finishing a few more industry certifications. He serves as an ambassador for the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation and is one of the co-founder of Georgia’s Hope, the leadership parent group that was successful in getting a Medical Cannabis law passed in Georgia. (HB1 Haleigh’s Hope).
Sebastien is the national business/education director and a board member for the Flowering Hope Foundation (a 501c no for profit that provides education and patient support for Haleigh’s Hope-Cannatol products). He is also on the board of advisor of MDherb, a cannabis education website and the VP of the “Talk to the 6630507 hand” campaign which aim at de-scheduling cannabis. In his free time, Sebastien is a guest host of the Cannatics political show on Millennium Grown Broadcast Network.
Dr. Joseph Morgan, MD
Dr. Morgan graduated from Penn State and Drexel Med (Hahnemann) and is Pennsylvania's first Diplomat of the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine based on clinical Cannabis training in California and Israel and original research culminating in a US patent pending. He specializes in historical medical uses of Cannabis, regulatory history, comparative drug efficacies and toxicities, rationale pharmacotherapy, and uses of FDA-approved dronabinol. His medical practice was in Drug & Alcohol Rehab including at the Department of Medicine at Eagleville Hospital prior to a drug safety and clinical research career in pharma and biotech.
As a Dean’s Professor for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Guest Scientist at Wm Patterson University in Wayne, New Jersey (Biology/cannabinoid research lab), Dr. Morgan educates healthcare professionals and students on the basic science and clinical considerations of medical cannabis and other cannabinoids, as approved by Pennsylvania’s Department of Health (Humans) and federal regulatory agencies (humans and animals).
Janie Maedler, CEO of Rylie’s Smile Foundation, was faced with a life altering situation in 2013 when her young daughter was diagnosed with life threatening bone tumors. She walked away from a business she had owned for 20 years and dove into cannabis research in order to best treat her daughter.
Through her experience and knowledge she began helping others while continuing her education in the cannabis field. She is now Pediatric Cannabis Consultant with several hundreds of families whom she has consulted with and given more treatment options too. Janie is a Policy Advisor having been instrumental in the passing of Rylie’s Law, SB181, helping to push thru HB280 and Delaware’s Pediatric Autism Petition.
